TEACHING CAREER
Interim assistant principal beginning in the spring semester of 2018, 2 to 3 days a week at Pasadena High School as an interim/intern assistant principal.
My teaching career began in 2009 in Pasadena Texas at Pasadena High School. I taught Concepts in Engineering in a Pitsco engineering synergy lab. There were 12 topics spanning a broad spectrum in engineering. I developed the class room into 12 modular learning stations. Small group self paced audio/video curriculum along with large group classroom instruction resulted in a well rounded learning environment.
In 2012 I accepted a position at North Shore Senior High in Galena Park ISD. I taught PLTW IED and assisted in certifying Project Lead The Way. Additional courses taught were Engineering Design & Presentation parametric solid modeling using Autodesk Inventor.
In August of 2016 I returned to Pasadena High School. I accepted the lead engineering instructor position and mentor to the freshman and sophomore engineering teachers. I teach the upper level courses to juniors and seniors.
Engineering 9th & 10th
Concepts of Engineering - Whitebox Learning
Engineering Design, & Presentation
Engineering 11th & 12th
Engineering Design & Problem Solving
Engineering STEM Practicum - Autodesk User Certification
